Augsburg Open makes it possible to explore the diversity of the city through over 450 guided tours and workshops in places that are not normally open to the public, with the participation of local companies and associations. makandra is of course also there and offers an insight into the everyday life of software experts and the special working culture of a digital company as well as a tour of our offices.

In this practical workshop with Simon Kastenhuber, colleague and Head of UX, legal requirements for digital accessibility are presented, their relevance for all users is explained and it is shown how web applications can be designed to be accessible. Best practices and exercises will be used to identify typical barriers and implement initial improvements directly.

At the "Linux Info Day", newcomers can get an overview of the application possibilities of Linux and open source software and advanced users can be inspired by the insight into new developments. Project stands offer the opportunity for direct contact between developers, protagonists and users. There will also be a link to more general topics such as art and digital society.

For 34 years, the Pyramid company contact fair has been the communication platform for students and companies in Augsburg.
