At makandra, we have always attached great importance to sustainable corporate management and future-oriented strategies in personnel management. And our efforts are bearing fruit: with a score of 81.4 points, we came 8th in the Handelsblatt's ranking of Germany's best IT employers in the category of IT companies with 51-100 employees. The Social Science Institute Schad (SWI) selected the 140 best out of over 1,500 participating companies. 

In addition, DUP UNTERNEHMER magazine, in collaboration with the German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization (DIIND), named us "Employer of the Future". This title is awarded to companies that "impress with innovative approaches, sustainable corporate management and a future-oriented strategy, for example in human resources management."

We are very proud of the fact that we perform above average in the rankings. But our concept is very simple: structured collaboration and genuine team cohesion paired with flexibility and a strong giving-back culture. Our benefits catalog is long and varied. Free catering

Our full-time chef prepares 2 - 3 lunch dishes for all employees to choose from every day. Lunch is free of charge for everyone. All diets and allergies are catered for. Coffee, drinks, fruit and snacks are provided.

Family friendly

We try to find good solutions and suitable arrangements for every situation in terms of balancing work and family life. We have daycare places available at TONI Park that we can call up for our employees and pay a daycare allowance.

Subsidy for sports activities

Health is of central importance to us. That's why we have ergonomic workstations and offer regular training courses on ergonomics in the workplace. In addition, membership of the new FitYou gym next to our office in TONI Park is heavily subsidized.

Training budget

Your individual training budget can be used, for example, for conference visits, specialist books or training courses. Lab Days are there to evaluate new technologies on a self-determined topic or to fill a knowledge gap. There are also regular internal formats, seminars and lectures.

Flexible home office

With us, there are no fixed weekly attendance days, but a flexible arrangement that you can organize yourself.

Workation and Sabbaticals

For the greatest possible flexibility in terms of work location, we offer the option of working from abroad for one month per year. You can also take a sabbatical of up to 3 months at a time.

Flexible working hours

We want to work successfully together as a team while ensuring the flexibility that each individual needs. We work together productively without rigid core working hours. Our employees work together productively in various part-time models.

Subsidies on top

We offer a daycare allowance, special payments for births and weddings and an internet allowance. We also distribute part of our company profit to our employees at the end of the year.


Shared experiences are important to us. That's why we regularly organize smaller and larger team events.

Our personal highlight? Our chef, who prepares a free, delicious and healthy meal for us every lunchtime. But the day-to-day organization with our own application, the Deskbot, the great office space and of course our team also speak for us.
