Audi Revolut F1® Team Content Hub – Central Communication Platform
The content hub is the central platform for Audi Motorsport AG’s press and media communications. makandra was responsible for developing the platform – including a powerful search function, user-group-specific content access, integrated media and distribution processes, and a scalable infrastructure designed to handle high traffic spikes.
The Audi Revolut F1® Team Content Hub is Audi Motorsport AG’s central digital communication platform. To mark Audi’s entry into Formula 1, a platform was developed that enables journalists and other representatives from the media and the public to quickly and easily access press releases, press kits, images, videos, and other content.
makandra was responsible for both the development of the application and the implementation of the platform’s design and handles the hosting and reliable operation of the entire infrastructure.

Technical implementation
From the very beginning, the development of the Audi Revolut F1® Team Content Hub was characterized by high technical demands.
Especially around race weekends, the infrastructure was scaled gradually and strategically to reliably ensure both high availability and the simultaneous upload of large amounts of data. Since many requirements only became apparent during practical use, the platform had to be continuously refined and repeatedly adapted on short notice.
Sending newsletters also added an extra layer of complexity. Thanks to smart tracking and processing logic combined with rapidmail, we can ensure fail-safe, efficient delivery as well as meaningful statistics.
Looking ahead, we also plan to implement AI-powered processes, such as for face and logo recognition.
In a very short time, under intense time pressure and with many last-minute changes, we delivered a system that reliably supports the Audi Revolut F1® Team’s public relations and media management – a project that demonstrates our ability to keep pace with the high speeds of Formula 1.
